SLJ – NOTAN ART – KICK START

Art is a gift many people have and many have cultural designs like this for an example. This right here is a Notan Art. “What is Notan Art” you say well I’m about to tell you, Notan art is a Japanese art image of a positive and negative space. This concept illustrates how positive and negative space meet each other and that one cannot exist without the other to balance within the artwork.

This activity was a fun task, I recommend this to those who love to observe and understand this kind of art. I hope you have a lovely day and God bless.

SLJ – POSTCARD POEM – STEP IT UP

For today’s activity I have created this postcard poem to my dearest friends. Where I have based my postcard image is the Islands of Samoa, this scenery is the beach as it is Summer that shows its beauty. The poem I have written is about memories, love and forever friends.

What type of scenery would you choose for your postcard?

Have a blessed day and God bless you all

SLJ – POEM POSTCARDS – KICK START

Poems are beautiful to hear which is why for this SLJ task I have created a poem that is meaningful and has a meaning to it. For this poem I chose a Sonnet poetry that is fourteen lines long, and typically a centre around the topic of love. I like to dedicate this postcard to my dearest friends who have always been there with me and I like to thank them. I chose this postcard because the night shines so bright as the moon glimmers its light down towards us and the town is a beautiful place to look at as it holds so many memories you had over there. I had the best memories with my friends, family and best times.

Do you like poems?I hope you enjoy this Poem

SLJ – UNDER THE SEA – KICK START

For this SLJ task the goal is to be as creative as you can. I have created this Under the sea diagram to show who I like to go swimming with. What I made for this theme was a family theme underwater scene by using images on google and them onto this diagram.  Fun fact: did you know that some whales use bubble netting to feed this involves whale assisting blowing bubbles that encircle their prey. As the prey won’t cross through the bubbles, they’re trapped, making it easier for the whale to eat them.

I hope you enjoy this picture. What kind of sea creatures would you like to go swimming with.

How would you promote Respect?

For this SLJ task I have created a logo to promote R.E.S.P.E.C.T. I chose this because not only people show Respect with firm handshakes but many others show other ways to promote respect like this for example, two people bow to each other as it shows a sign of gratitude. I hope you like my logo

Have a Blessed day and God bless

How do you show Respect?

Well this is why I am presenting this, this information is all about showing with three simple yet hard ways to show respect to others in the Samoan culture. Respecting others is a way to show that you are being honourable, generous and kind to the people you love and trust which is why I chose these three ways of showing Respect the Samoan way. I hope you enjoy this information and have a blessed day.

SLJ – SUMMER STYLES – KICK START

Summer is a great time where you can read which is why I created this bookmark in my own image with lines and shapes with cultural designs.  My bookmark says “summertime” because that’s one of my perspectives of summer where I can have fun and chill with my Summer Learning Journey challenges even through Christmas time. I hope you enjoy observing this creative art so that you can learn how to do it as well as me.

May God Bless you all and have a wonderful “Summertime”.

MEMORIES AS WE SAY GOODBYE AND MOVE ON…

I have officially graduated and thanks to my friends, teachers and my parents that anything is possible when you have faith. This will show our fond memories we had together so that you know that we will never back down as we will continue our journey onwards to our new school.  I will miss this school for This will be

Adult Wars And Children

This piece of work is telling me that these two boys separated from their families face each other eye to eye not knowing what’s going on around them facing real danger. These two kids behind barbed wires keeping them hostage are affecting their lives at risk.

A Poem shared by Tomo Roberts:

Adult War and Children die:

How did the world go so awry,

Where adults war, and children die.

We pick our sides, but in the sky,

The thunder cracks, the missiles fly

Politicians don’t try to mend,

They speak their words, enact revenge.

We’ve seen such things, again and again

More war, more death, more of us and them.

I can’t write this poem; I’m not that smart.

My safety bought by blood, in part.

And no words of mine will fix the start,

Or bring back life, or unbreak hearts.

So we wait and watch as babies cry

We pray this pain will pass us by

And wonder how, and wonder why,

While adults war, children die.
